Music can change the atmosphere of any environment. When it comes to creating a 'positive vibe' we aim to hit the right note! our quartet line up of vocals, guitar, bass and vibes (vibraphone) produces a unique sound that is a perfect background to a wedding reception and social occassion.
Mark has played with a wide variety of artists in a multitude of musical styles. Gigs ranging from Frank Sinatra to Harry Hill illustrate how diverse his career has been to date. Being a versatile drummer and percussionist means he is always up for the challenge of something new. 'Positive Vibes' is a project that has come out of his experiences of playing at various functions. Wanting to play good tunes that people know and love with a unique sound is what the band is all about.

Pete Aves
Pete is a very well respected player as both a solo artist and a versatile side man. He has 3 solo albums to his name which have had much European airplay. Pete's most recent work includes gigs with The High Llamas and Lee Hazlehurst.
Georgie the Positive Vibes vocalist, began singing in her Dad's big band at the age of 13 covering songs from the old classics to the latest chart hits. After 5 years as lead singer she moved on to join another successful covers band. Then the call to London came and she has gone on to record with the likes of Gloria Gaynor, S Club 8 & various other pop acts. Her work has led her into a busy career in the recording industry as a successful song writer and producer in her own right.
Positive vibes' repertoire includes tunes by Norah Jones, Joni Mitchell and Carole King along with classic jazz standards.
